Brethren-

Attached is this year's Inspection schedule.

I have been in touch with most of the officers to let them know that I expect them to attend at least 3 inspections each. If/when I have time, I will submit this list again, with Lodge addresses, so that our younger members will be able to find a Lodge close to home.

Please note that the first Inpection takes place on Monday, January 5, right at the Temple. I plan to attend.

As I mentioned at Stated last night, it would be great to pick up the Traveling Gavel one time this year. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces throughout the Inspection season.

Fraternally,
Steve

Anyone interested?

If we put together 2 teams, I'd like to see the east-siders up against the west-siders.

October Stated Meeting TOMORROW

Brethren-

I look forward to seeing you all again this Wednesday, October 15.

Please be aware:

1) We'll be passing around the sign-up sheet for the Salvation Army Kettle Day, which is November 22.  We'll be selecting a centrally-located kettle; please be ready to at least sign up.  If you know the hours you'd like to volunteer, that would be a big help.

2) The Sportswear Committee is ready with the 2008 Collection.  Come ready to place your order for short-sleeve and long-sleeve polos, sweaters, vests, and half-zip sweatshirts.  We hope to turn in orders in November and have everything back for the December Stated Meeting.

3) The invitation and reply card are out for Sweetheart's Night: November 1.  I'll be able to take your RSVP tomorrow night (or any time).

See you tomorrow,
Steve Douglas

Web site is down!

A MESSAGE FROM THE WEBMASTER!

Hello Brethren,

I am very sorry our web site has been down since August 19. It seems hostonce.com is having server problems. I have this Update Blog setup at Blogspot.com, so we can still do any important updates from the lodge. I will also put the bulletins up on another site, so they can be accessed to read or download. I will post a link here for the bulletins. We will hope the site is up and running soon.
