Attached is this year's Inspection schedule.
I have been in touch with most of the officers to let them know that I expect them to attend at least 3 inspections each. If/when I have time, I will submit this list again, with Lodge addresses, so that our younger members will be able to find a Lodge close to home.
Please note that the first Inpection takes place on Monday, January 5, right at the Temple. I plan to attend.
As I mentioned at Stated last night, it would be great to pick up the Traveling Gavel one time this year. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces throughout the Inspection season.

If we put together 2 teams, I'd like to see the east-siders up against the west-siders.

Reservations have NOT come in for this event. I MUST hear from you; we can't make assumptions about who will and won't show up, and we can't have surprises on December 6.
Please give me your RSVP, your count, and the ages and genders of all children attending.
Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving,
P.S. Don't forget that Officer Installation will be held next Wednesday, December 3. This will be an open installation. SDD

I look forward to seeing you all again this Wednesday, October 15.
Please be aware:
1) We'll be passing around the sign-up sheet for the Salvation Army Kettle Day, which is November 22. We'll be selecting a centrally-located kettle; please be ready to at least sign up. If you know the hours you'd like to volunteer, that would be a big help.
2) The Sportswear Committee is ready with the 2008 Collection. Come ready to place your order for short-sleeve and long-sleeve polos, sweaters, vests, and half-zip sweatshirts. We hope to turn in orders in November and have everything back for the December Stated Meeting.
3) The invitation and reply card are out for Sweetheart's Night: November 1. I'll be able to take your RSVP tomorrow night (or any time).
See you tomorrow,

He is currently too weak to receive visitors; we'll keep you posted.
Please keep Elaine in your thoughts and prayers.

I am very sorry our web site has been down since August 19. It seems hostonce.com is having server problems. I have this Update Blog setup at Blogspot.com, so we can still do any important updates from the lodge. I will also put the bulletins up on another site, so they can be accessed to read or download. I will post a link here for the bulletins. We will hope the site is up and running soon.

WE NEED YOU. Everyone who showed up last week got a meal and took a part in what turned out to be one of the best rehearsals we've ever had. Please plan to come down to the Temple tonight.
